Who we are

SameTicket runs sameticket.com from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Email hello@sameticket.com for anything about your data.

What we do not collect

• We set no cookies of our own.
• We run no analytics and no ad tracking.
• There are no accounts, so we hold no passwords or profiles.
• There is no newsletter at launch, so we hold no mailing list.

What happens when you visit

The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Workers). To deliver pages and keep the site secure, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request logs. We use this only for security and delivery. Our basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe. Cloudflare runs a global network, so your request may be handled outside your own country. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data.

When you click to a seller

Our links take you to the seller's site, such as Klook, GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Headout or the attraction operator. From that point the seller is in charge. It, and any affiliate network it uses, may set its own cookies and collect its own data under its own policy. We do not control that and cannot see it. Read the seller's privacy policy before you book. Links to sellers in a paid programme are marked "Ad", as explained in how we make money.

When you email us

If you write to hello@sameticket.com, for example to report a wrong price, we receive your email address and whatever you tell us. We use it to answer you and to fix the issue. We keep the message for as long as we need to deal with it. Our basis is our legitimate interest in handling the messages sent to us.

Your rights in the UAE

The UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) applies to us. In plain English, you can ask us:

• what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• to correct data that is wrong;
• to delete your data, or to restrict or stop how we use it;
• to give you a copy of your data in a usable form;
• to stop using your data to make decisions about you automatically.

Some of these rights have limits set by the law. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Your rights in the UK and EU

If you visit from the UK or the European Union, UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you these rights:

• to see the personal data we hold about you;
• to have wrong data corrected;
• to have your data erased;
• to restrict how we use it;
• to receive it in a portable form;
• to object to us using it on the basis of our legitimate interest;
• to withdraw consent, where we rely on consent (we do not at launch).

You can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EU, it is the authority in the country where you live.

How to use your rights

Email hello@sameticket.com and say what you want. We may need to check it is you before we act. Because we collect so little, we often will have nothing to give you, and we will tell you so.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, for example by adding analytics or a newsletter, we will update this page first and change the date at the top. See also our terms and about page.
