How we make money

SameTicket may earn a commission when you book through some of our links. Commission never changes the order of our tables or the price you pay.

Commission

Some sellers may pay us a commission when you book through a link on this site. The price you pay is the same either way.

At launch, no affiliate programme is live yet. That means none of our links can pay us commission today. When we join a programme, we will update this page.

How paid links are marked

A link to a seller in a paid programme is marked "Ad" next to the link, before you click it. It also carries rel="sponsored", so search engines know it is a paid link.

Links to sellers that do not pay us are listed on exactly the same terms. The official site is always one of the rows.

What commission never does

  • It never changes the order. Prices are always listed cheapest first.
  • It never changes the price you pay.
  • It never decides which tickets are compared. Only like-for-like tickets are in the main table.

How we check prices explains where each number comes from.

What we do not do

  • We do not accept payment from a seller for placement. A seller cannot pay to move up a table.
  • We do not run ads on this site.
  • We do not publish sponsored reviews.

Why this matters

The whole point of SameTicket is that you can trust the order. If that order could be bought, the site would be worth nothing to you. Commission is how a small independent team pays for the site, and no more than that.
